Long Lines at Polling Places Not Necessarily Indication of More Voters

-- The first week of early voting is in the books, and the big story has been the long lines at the polls. But experts say that does not mean that more people are voting in this presidential election. Chuck DeVore with the Texas Public Policy Foundation broke down the numbers.

He says long lines are due to social distancing. In person voting was actually down in Texas by 15 percent on the first day. Meanwhile, mail-in voting is up 44-percent, compared to the last presidential election.
